Guitar Fretboard and Standard Tuning


This blog will give you an over view how a guitar fretboard is designed and how are the notes scattered over the guitar fretboard. 



This is how a guitar fretboard looklike.

The standard tuning of the guitar is as follows.

                                             E - A - D - G - B - E 

   String number                 6 - 5 -  4 -   3 -  2 -  1

Before playing the guitar, make sure that your guitar is tuned properly. Use an electronic-chromatic tuner or there are several smartphone apps are available on iOS or Google Play store from where you can download and use them to tune your guitar. Smartphone bases apps are good to tune your guitar however there is one drawback that it may not work properly in a noisy area.  You may always buy a good chromatic tuner from the music shop.
